Outbound & Inbound hours  [1/11/2007 12:31:50]

Hi

I am wondering if anyone can help???

I work in debt recovery and I know that the OFT states that we can make calls at reasonable times and intervals and we generally stick to 8am to 9pm M-F but I am stuck on the weekend as I've had different information.

So my question

What opening times can we operate on a Saturday and Sunday

Weekend Calling hours  [1/11/2007 15:13:59]

I know your personal opinion states that you don't like calls at the weekend but I need to get a general idea of what the industry standards for weekend calling.

I'm one for just working Saturday morning but the client wants me to operate all day saturday & Sunday but I'm not happy, so I want something along the lines of what other companies do,

Hi Kevin,

We used to operate our collections call centre 7 days a week.

After much analysis we found Sundays to be very unproductive in terms of collections. Although on sales campaigns I have seen good results on a Sunday, I feel for Collections it is not an effective time for calling.

At weekends we now only call out Sat mornings/early afternoon as this is our most productive time to contact people we can not get weekdays.
