incomplete field in hagent table  [5/7/2007 21:59:36]

in the hagent table their's a field called incomplete. the definition of this field is given in the help for cms supervisor. from the definition what i get is that this field is 1 only if that particular interval has incomplete data. now i have a number of questions around it

1. Will every row that has a 1 in this field have a correcpsonding row for the same interval/login/exten/split and acd with a 0 in this field?
2. If an agent is on a call and the interval changes to the next interval, will the data (call duration and call count) get updated in the previous interval row in hagent of will it get added in the interval in which the call ends
3. i found a lot of rows in my hagent table which were duplicate (with the exact same data in each field) for a single combination of acd-split-logid-extension-rowdate-starttime. how can this be possible, with incomple being 0 for all these rows?

my real objective is to pull out data from hagent after every interval and archive it in a seperate db for reporting. but if the data/interval rows are being updated cuz of agents finishing calls in subsequent intervals, then'll have a problem as my data will not be accurate for intervals that i have already archived but got updated later on as the agent finished the calls....

Hi HS,

excerpt from reference file
[INCOMPLETE
Database tables
The INCOMPLETE item appears in the following database tables:

Agent tables
This indicates whether or not data is complete for this collection interval. Data is incomplete whenever the link goes down and whenever tracking is aborted for calls, due to the trunk going maintenance busy with a call active, protocol failures with data collection active, or when split/skill or VDN call profile is changed with data collection active.

The value for interval tables indicates whether data is incomplete for the interval (0 = NO, 1 = YES). The value in the daily, weekly, and monthly tables indicates the number of incomplete intervals in the day, week, or month. Changing split/skill or VDN call profile data while data collection is active only affects the respective split/skill or VDN data.

This is a cumulative item.]

I think you have misunderstood the incomplete field. This represents when the link between the server and the switch has been lost so the data has not been captured at all.

In regards to point 3 , are you running a custom report or is this a standard CMS report?
