AVAYA CMS Scripting VIA VBA  [18/4/2006 19:27:00]

I'm working with CMS and am wanting to automate CMS through some Excel VBA scripting. I found the reference I need in the reference library and a function to pull reports and export them from the web. However I can not find any documentation on the objects, methods, properties etc for the CMS object library. I would appreciate anyones help who could point me to documentation on the use of this part of CMS. Thank you in advance.

Avaya Objects and scripting  [19/4/2006 11:01:51]

It would probably be easier to use the schedule system in centreVU to save a text file and use the text function to pull it into excel without the use of VBA

However Avaya centreVu has a full glossary of terms and this also contains the objects names from each table. There is also a dictionary, and a table called all tables, that lists all the table names. I would suggest that you are probably going to have to use SQL to pull the information through VBA.

Sorry that this is such a technical answer.
