Amcat Vs Presence  [14/2/2006 10:33:41]

Hi All,

I'm currently working in South Africa for a call centre and looking at different dialer solutions. I have vast experience of Amcat, but after a meeting with the Presence people, it seems that many of the dialers attributes are similar.

I'd like to hear from people regarding their experience with Presence, as I have concerns slightly about support and the reporting functionality of the Presence dialer.

If anybody who has relevent experience could get back to me as soon as possible, it would be appreciated!

(Lack of) Presence  [14/2/2006 13:36:25]

I pride myself on monitoring who else is playing in the market and unfortunately I have never heard of Presence. I can however confirm that Amcat is a good product having had experience of this in a previous life. As ever you simply have to view the similarities and then weigh up how valuable the unique selling points are. Then, as best possible, witness these in operation somewhere to make sure they do actually work.

Ditto. Never heard of them. I assume they don't operate in the UK.

If they do I may be interested in hearing from them - I'm thinking about doing a piece on diallers in a forthcoming issue of CCF.

Hi Paul,
My name is Juan and I work in Emergia Contact Center playing the role of IT Manager.

We have installed about 700 agent seats with Presence Technology and It works fine.

We use Presence CRM Optimizer, Presence Messaging, Presence Recording and Presence inteligent Routing and
I'm wery happy with the results of the software.

For more details I can say you that I have about 100 agent seats with normal
voice and 600 agent seats with Voice IP.

The tool is very powerful and very stable and easy to setup and use.

I have pretty in depth experience with Presence from an administration and user standpoint. I would be glad to give you any feedback you need.

We used presence in two remote call centers connected to a central system in Atlanta, GA, USA. The software worked very well for us. I can tell you that the support is excellent. There were many times that we called during off hours to the support staff. They were always available to help us.

Dialer capabilities are closely linked to the hardware being used. We were using AVAYA with Presence. The dialer performed very well, but as I'm sure you know you have to know what you are doing to get the best performance.

Hi all,
I have never work with Amcat but I know Presence. When I was Operational Manager from Air Europa I was working with Genesys , itīs a good program for incoming calls but it is not a good dialler, it is very poor. In that moment I knew Presence, itīs wonderful. I only can tell you that we forget Genesys and we moved to Presence.
I have work with another diallers like Genesys, Altitude or AIC and Presence is my fist choice. I know that here in Spain is the number one in outsourcing enterprise in the last years, I am not sure but I think that they are in international expansion. I am not working directly in Call Center business but if you are interested I can provide you many happy users of this tool.
