Managing System downtime  [17/5/2009 18:58:14]

As a manager in a major uk call centre we currently manage all system downtime through Centre Vu reports which provide statistical data on interval, daily, weekly and monthly basis. The agents use aux codes to confirm when their system becomes unavailable but this proves difficult to manage and kep track of new, repetative or old issues. How does everyone else manage this costly item ?

Suggestion  [12/6/2009 01:52:44]

Hi,

Hi,

In my Organization the report is maintained by MIS agent who does the Real Time Monitoring , which includes Transport , Applications and System Downtime.

Just we keep him posted on time.

Anyways it is very important that a process should have 1 SPOC , if we start maintaining it separately it’s going to be huge confusion.
Hence make a folder in the shared drive may help the SPOC to collate all the data from different shift.

Regards,
Suraj
