Bonjour,

I want to open up a discussion point for this Predictive dialer. One of my main priorities for my new position is gaining a solid understanding of this tool as quickly as possible.

So let's here your reviews, tips, tricks, problems, etc.

Good day

Im no expert but had to look after one for a few months after it was migrated from an office we closed to my centre.

It did the job well, though there is a knack to driving it as there is for most things.. Check out http://www.mosaixusergroup.com/ , a useful resource.. I will have a word with my old dialler manager and get him to join the distinguished ranks of the callcentrevoice family so he can give you some tips

Diffrence between Mosiax and Avaya Predictive Dailer  [20/8/2007 11:59:29]

Can anyone from forum tell me is there any difference between Mosiax and Avaya Predictive Dailer or they are some known by different names.

If they are different then me me what is the different between them.

Mosiax / Avaya PDS / Proactive Contact  [20/8/2007 14:16:50]

In a nutshell, Avaya bought Mosiax's changed its name to Avaya Predictive Dialer Solution or PDS and have more recently changed its name to Proactive Contact.

If anyone in the UK would like any assistance with regards to this platform, (support or development) my door is always open.

Mosaix? Try Aspect or Maybe Genesys  [4/9/2007 15:33:37]

Pls do not get into Mosaix, have worked with all of them...
Genesys by far beats all of them in terms of its robust architecture and amazing consistency. Most major corporations have already taken up Genesys
Aspect is great too.

Though Avaya is going to be cheaper if you want the good things for your center

This is embarassing but it's late and for the first time ever I logged into the dialer to change the time.

Found the spot to change it (nowhere near where avaya said it was)

changed the time...but I can't figure out how to save or back out...

everykey either says NOT A SELECT key or INVALID KEY when I hit it.

so uhhhh help?

/me wanders back to the dialer room

Hi Justin,

Ctrl+X to exit out of page and you should be asked if you would like to save.

Heres some info on keys to use.

System Control Keys for PDS Telnet

Ctrl+E Erase a field
Ctrl+I Insert Space
Ctrl+N Next Page
Ctrl+P Previous Page
Ctrl+R Refresh Screen
Ctrl+S Stop Scroll
Ctrl+Q Quit Stop Scroll
Ctrl+W Help (What Keys)
Ctrl+X Exit

Need any more info like PC Analysis Keys etc give me a shout.

I should be in a better position to update the time tonight after hours.

PS: I normally do most "significant" changes that may affect call routing/jobs/ etc after hours but I'd like to get some input from you on whether this is a change you would do during the day.

Ctrl X is just popping me back to the main screen....need to figure out how to save this....

ps: I would not advice pushing random keys on this thing..tends to slow it down a bit.
