15000 Transactions per hour in Davox  [8/5/2006 15:12:12]

When you get alerts telling you this has been achieved, what problems can it cause?

Cheers,
Colin

Colin,

The TPH capacity of your system is governed by:

1) Your SUN hardware server type and number of servers
2) There is also a banwidth throttle in general_define which prevents your system from errors resulting from overdialling past the hardware limits.

Please let me know what hardware platform you are using and I will be able to tell you what transaction rate you should be able to handle.

I would assume that if you have seen an alert showing an excess of 15k TPH then this is probably the throttle setting in your system (this was the limit for a single Ultra 60 system).

Are you dialling with poorer data than usual? This would likely be the cause. If you have hit your throttle limit then your system may have hit its ceiling transaction rate and will not be able to dial any faster. The only problem this will (should) cause is inefficiency - i.e. agent utilisation.

Thanks,

Seb
