avaya cms odbc  [26/2/2004 21:32:16]

I have a couple of questions regarding Avaya's CMS.

I am accessing CMS tables via Microsoft Access through an Openlink ODBC driver that Avaya has provided.

Is it not possible to access any of the real-time tables via ODBC? e.g cagent or csplit? When I get a list of tables available on the server, these tables aren't listed.

Also, what table would contain agent skill info? I want to run a query which would return agent skills with their priority level in CMS? The only table I found which has this info is haglog; the agent login-logout table. But this table doesn't have info for agents who haven't logged in.

Any help is appreciated!

Sorry to say that I dont believe this is possible. In a previous position where I had implemented an Avaya switch and CMS, we tried and tried. From what I understand these real time tables exist in memory and are not accessible at all from an external connection.

I was able to get access to CMS real time tables via TargetVision software.
