Showing you support for the ASP-NPL research and testing will cost you NOTHING but a few minutes, for which we could secure further important Dti funding
I am writing to you today on a very important matter concerning Government support for the Acoustic Safety Programme. As you may know ASP-NPL carry out two fields of work: 'Independent Telephony Equipment Testing' and 'Research into the Cause and Effect of Acoustic Shock'. The first of these, which received start-up funding support from the Dti, will start to produce 'Comparative Test Reports' on in-line devices then headsets around August 2007 and then subsequent editions will be published as we move forward. The second project will start as soon as we have raised enough research budget to commence.
Very recently the Dti have offered, through NPL, the ability for ASP to secure a considerable grant for its work in the field I describe above. The funding for the ASP project at NPL Acoustics is part of a wider remit, however a significant part of it will be allocated to the advancement of the testing programme and toward technology/engineering developments that will become vital resources during the research study.
It is extremely urgent that you respond to this call to action. It will cost you nothing but a couple of minutes of your time, however we only have until Tuesday 3rd July to respond - this is the deadline for registering interest. Please see below...
The work ASP-NPL are carrying out will have an impact most specifically on the estimated 1 million+ call centre workers in the UK and the millions of others Worldwide. Beneficiaries of our testing and research will also include anyone using a telephone device for extended periods during their working day. In turn the results we achieve could benefit your business in the following obvious ways: improved health & safety and hearing conservation; improved customer satisfaction, and; protection of your profits from losses caused by sickness, injury and absenteeism due to hearing related events.
In order for NPL to secure this Dti grant for their work with ASP we need YOU to show your support for this project URGENTLY. All you need to do is to click on the link below, which will take you to the NPL website where you can read about the work and then fill in the very short form online to show your support. The Dti will decide which projects to grant funding to based on PUBLIC INTEREST, i.e. YOUR interest in whether this work is important to your business and your staff - which we assure you it is.
Please see Project A1.3 in the pdf document posted on the site below and fill in the form online - registering your support before NEXT TUESDAY 3rd July.
