CCV Northwest Meet  [31/10/2006 21:46:37]

We're cluttering up the Introduce yourself thread (which is very annoying to the hundreds of people who get an email notification every time a new member adds to it!) so here's a thread to discuss the NW meet.

Unless anyone disagrees, the current plans are the Merlin in Alderley Edge sometime in November. It's not too late to change this, so if you'd rather it be in Manchester then speak now.

Who's interested?

Either location is fine for me also.

I'd suggest  [1/11/2006 10:45:48]

Whilst either is OK for me I'd tend to suggest central Manchester
on the basis anyone coming from the north (Preston / LPL)
will ahve to travel across anyway.

Opinions?

BUMP!  [16/2/2007 08:12:34]

Morning all,

Just a quick bump to the top as we're now intothe New Year oh...

and I now owe Julian a quantity of beer.

So Darryl you owe me two pints, if you see Julian before I do can
you buy him a couple of beers? That should make us square if
I don't see Julian first :-)

Regards

DaveA

Beer  [16/2/2007 08:35:21]

So Darryl you owe me two pints

I was hoping you'd forgotten - that was about two years ago.

Good job you're not adding interest.

So how about this meet then? We've got two options of pubs, all we really need is a date.

I propose 15th March. I think that's a Thursday.

How does that suit people?

Ok,  [27/2/2007 15:54:24]

Ok,

Daryll is at present trying to kill himself on a ski slope
(anyone who doesn't believe me ask him for the MPEG of last year!)

Can anyone else interested stick their names below. (Cut and Paste this one in)

Daryll Beckford
Ann-Marie Stagg
Cam Ross
Stuart Williams.

As far as suggestions go, All Bar One sounds good, but
we'll leave it a bit nearer to confirm the exact location.

Julian do you want your beer?

Thursday 15th.  [13/3/2007 08:00:35]

Ok,

Can I suggest putting things back to after Easter then?

It seems to make sense and we can get John Nicholson
to do the advertising :-)

Open to suggestions.

Thursday 15th  [13/3/2007 13:49:30]

I am still fine for this, if others want to. Equally happy to wait until after Easter.

Postpone?  [13/3/2007 16:32:40]

As I'm inducting a new member of DB Limited staff this week (click here to see), it actually suits me if we put it off until after easter.

We definitely must get it together though...so if someone wants to suggest a date then we'll stick to it.

Cheers,
D
