BT Answerphone  [4/3/2008 11:52:37]

Hello all

Does anyone know how much ring time there is until the BT Answerphone kicks in for those who have it?

Thanks

I *Think*  [4/3/2008 12:11:06]

It's 25 seconds.

But, that's from memory and I can't
find an exact figure anywhere.

Err.. may be I *Don't think!  [4/3/2008 13:03:03]

Just checked with a friend who I know
is at work.

It kicked in at 9-10 seconds.

Although I'm not sure if it's configurable.

From memory - when the answerphone is switched it will vary depending on how many rings you have allowed in the user set up.

But swithched off it will kick in after about 30 seconds if the call remains unanswered but only after the call has been terminated by the caller, if they call back again the answerphone will then answer within the user defined settings.

Bit annoying that it doesn't execute on the call received but responds to the no answer termination.
