objective criteria to rate employees  [15/9/2007 02:46:15]

I am seeking some help with my project work and would like to get some inputs and advices from the fellow forum members.

My Question is:

What are some objective criteria by which you can rate employees?
Further,Qualities such as Friendliness and cheerfulness are important in employe. is it a good idea to rate the employees on these qualities?
