Call Centre Expo  [22/8/2007 16:58:03]

Amazingly, it's nearly that time of the year when we all wander round Birmingham NEC trying to look like we didn't stay up too late at the European Call Centre awards the night before.

I'm now booking appointments for the two days of the expo and the day before. If you've got a stand and would like to demo something, or even if you just want a chat, drop me a line now and I'll make sure I get round to see you.

01625 421903, or darryl AT darrylbeckford.co.uk.

Cheers,
D

Awards are always great.  [22/8/2007 22:57:05]

I'm going to be in Europe next April/May, it would be a laugh if something like this was going on then.

ps: While it may seem evident to some people you may want to put the dates the expo is happening on.

Hi All

Just thought i would catch up with you and ask how you felt the CC Expo 07 went as visitors and fellow exhibitors

I felt at on the first day it was quite slow and quiet

Last year felt allot more full on

John

Call Centre Expo  [28/9/2007 12:32:43]

Hi John, CCMA were there and while it was busy again for us it felt that there were fewer users around and far more suppliers and consultants roaming the show...great for networking but for business deals? I'm not so sure.

Overall its still the best show in town though!

Call Centre Expo   [28/9/2007 13:09:53]

Hi Ann Marie

Sorry i did not manage to say hi i did see you at the entrance in deep conversation with some people yesterday afternoon as i was walking by and did not want to intrude

Don,t get me wrong i love the show being going to them on both sides of fence for donkeys years and as you say it does provide a great chance to catch up with people and put a name to a face, however as you say maybe the end user side is not so much there and as a supplier there is always the need to look out for the return on investment.

As i said it would be great to get some view on this show just hope it does not go by the same direction as the TMA show that used to show in Brighton for years

Expo  [28/9/2007 14:41:42]

I most admit, I registered to attend and then decided on the day that I had other priorites.

Ann-Marie your point on suppliers and consultants is valid, as it has become more and more noticeable over the last 2-3 years. People pay allot of money to exhibit at the Expo and the last thing you want to do is spend your whole day speaking to other supplier or consultants who are trying to sell you stuff.

I think that the end user is moving onto more product specific shows these days. Obviously our favourites will have to remain a trade secret.

I suppose even if I had gone I would of been another supplier on the list.

Call Centre Expo   [1/10/2007 11:13:27]

Also another reason for less inquiries is allot of contact centres are already into their 1st/2nd generation solutions and are just catching up with their existing suppliers

One amusing comment when asked what was bringing them to CC Expo was they just wanted a day out of the office and wanted a jolly

However there was some interest in hosted services as and alternative to CPU based technology

What can i say ??

John

Call Centre Expo  [5/10/2007 14:06:05]

Hi,

As exhibitors for the first time at Call Centre Expo, we found it a very productive 2 days. Yes, the 2nd day was quieter than the first, but overall the Expo gave us the opportunity to speak to exactly the level of people we had hoped. as a result, we have booked up for 2008.

Yes I agree. It was our first time at Call Centre Expo and we had a lot of positive feedback from people who visited our stand and we found it very productive. We have booked a stand for next year.
