Witness vs Nice  [13/8/2007 22:22:39]

I have a situation where I have a group of seats connected remotely to one pbx for 50% of their shift and connected to another for the other half.

The problem is the first pbx uses NICE call recording, the second uses WITNESS. I haven't yet experimented with this but have been told that these two recording platforms can not co-exist on a PC.

Can they? Anyone ever do this? Both groups want to have their calls automatically recorded at the moment but this doesn't seem to be a solution.

Witness v Nice   [14/8/2007 13:16:52]

Hi Justin

I posed this question to my pre-sales colleague and this is his reply

I think he means the client software which may or may not use similar OS libraries and files that could cause errors if running both on the same PC. However if they use one, log out then use the other there is a good chance that it should work fine. The only way to know if to experiment with one PC, install both sets of apps and run the apps (making sure to use only one system at a time)

Leave it for a week or so whilst users use all the features and if ok then roll out across the other PCs too.

I hope this is of some help Justin

With My Regards

John
