I went to the Van Gogh Museum, the bridges at Arnhem & Nijmegin, The urban beach, there's loads to see and do before you settle down for the evening on the Damrak (City Centre).

You do get fed up with Heineken after a while though.

I went to a bar called Teasers, then to another bar, and another and another. A friend and I then left a small bar somewhere in Amsterdam and got separated, all I remember after that is walking for hours constantly thinking the hotel was just around the next corner.

I worked in the city all expenses in for 6 weeks...6 long long weeks

It took me twice that time to get over it and recover from being grazed and confused and very very tired.

I still have the scars from injuries inflicted by mad cyclists too

Definately worth a visit for the more hardy and resilient but not for working!!
