Hi folks.
At some point in the last few hours we've gained our 5000th member. In the traditional fashion, we could send out a CallCentreVoice brolly to the lucky individual, but as the 500th, 1000th and 2500th members can testify, it will get eaten by snakes somewhere between here and wherever the member lives. So we'll save the snakes the hard work and not send one out.
Anyway, it's an important milestone and I for one look forward to seeing how the community evolves over the next 5000 members. For those who like statistical things:
Since CallCentreVoice was launched in April 2001:
On average, 167 people have found and joined each month;
We've grown from a mere 5,000 pages served in our first month to 150,000+ during September 2003;
We've grown into the most popular call centre discussion community site on the web;
We've had less than 36 hours downtime in nearly 30 months (though it seems much more than this from my proud parent viewpoint);
If you were here I'd buy you all a beer! ;-)
