Another question for Canadians  [3/10/2001 20:00:19]

Has anyone heard of the term "CLEC" ?

I've been asked to investigate the possibility of our call center becoming a CLEC. "Competitive Local Exchange Carrier".

I read somewhere that call centers that have telecom expenses greater than $15,000 would benefit from becoming a CLEC.

Can anyone comment?
