New call centre Japan/Hong Kong  [8/9/2008 02:28:24]

Dear all,

I am new to this whole call centre issue and am looking to start developing a new business within the call centre industry. First of all let me explain a few things about the new biz.

We will be targeting very specifica customers (electronics manufacturers) and the call centre will be for incoming voice only. I already have one client that wants the service and essentially it will be consumers that have problems with their purchaces will call the help line for advice on how to configure their equipment.

Now I have a number of issues.
1. how do I set up the telephone network so that users can call a local number and have it diverted to the call centre... i.e. a user in Thailand/Hong Kong etc.. anad have it diverted to Japan (or possibly Hong Kong)
2. What things do i need to be wary of?
3. I expect to start fairly quickly (October) is this possible
4. should I seriously consider setting up in HongKong and having the issues of controling the office from a distance or is it more sensible to setup in Japan where I am based (even though the costs maybe slightly higher)?

Any help and advice will be welcome.
