I'm trying to streamline setting PTO hours allowed. Is there an easy way to calculate what percentage of staff or amount of hours to allow for a period of time? For example, if we set 2008 to a default of 10%, but want to adjust the next month to something different based on a concern of historical call data, what is the best way to calculate this?
What I have in mind is an Excel worksheet where one could plug in historical call volume numbers, resulting in an amended percentage of allowable hours for PTO.
Does anyone have anything like this?
