advantages and disadvanatge of using soft dialers on a switch  [14/9/2007 06:48:31]

i would like to know from industry and technical champs on what are the pros and cons of the use of soft and hard dialers...
its impact on the Hard switch it links to..
impact on IVR
impact on rescoruses.
imapct on capacity planing..
impact on call ahndling capacity of the switch etc..
and any other impatc ...on production
