Good question. In general, there should be no problem with online transactions; in terms of trust, there is little difference in that regard to any other form of transaction involving (say) a credit card. Moreover, the credit card companies are now offering protection to online purchasers against fraud on the internet. So, in general, if you use a credit card (say, Visa) on the internet for your purchase, you are covered in most cases, and at worst I believe your losses would be limited to a small sum (say, £50 or equivalent). |
