We Can Help You With Online Customer Services Training   [10/6/2002 13:50:16]

Hi Phil

I run a company called Progress International, although we do provide traditional Call Centre Customer Services training we also provide online training.

Our eLearning portal is called Skillbites.com and currently we offer programmes online, which cover skills such as Management, Sales, Customer Services, Marketing, Health & Safety, HR & Training, Finance and IT.

The concept is very simple, Skillbites currently offers over 175 programmes, which are called eBriefings. Each eBriefing has been has been divided into modules of learning which are called Bites. Each Bite contains approximately 20 minutes of learning.

Most e-learning systems work on pull technology, which in laymen’s terms means that for users to access any of the services offered they must go online to visit the providers website to carryout their learning, sometimes having to do it at very specific times for an hour or two which for most people is very difficult due to important or unforeseen work pressures.

Skillbites utilises push technology, which simply means that the learning comes to you. Imagine you’re a Skillbites member and that you have chosen an eBriefing from the 175 that are available and subscribed to it. Skillbites will then email you a learning Bite from that eBriefing each day enabling you to choose where and when you learn.

Of course if you want to do the entire eBriefing in one go you can do so by simply visiting Skillbites and either doing the programme online or printing off the Bites. The main point being that the choice is yours.

Each eBriefing also contains study links to further information, which supports and builds on the eBriefings learning.

In addition each eBriefing also contains at least one quiz / test which enables members to test their learning. Skillbites also records the results of the quiz / test and informs you of which specific Bite/s you should revisit.

We can also provide Skillbites as a corporate solution, which can be re-branded to your own corporate identity. On this basis you can also upload your own training programmes including induction training, product or service training etc etc.

If you would like to know more please call me on 0870 908 2 908. (www.skillbites.com)
