I was so interested in what the pre-budget speech was saying about call centres that I completely missed this from the Information Commissioner:

I'm sure that everyone will agree that this is excellent news for the industry, as it's about time that rouge telemarketers were cut down on. I've heard hundreds of complaints over the years from organisations spending time and money TPS cleaning data only to realise that their competitors were not.
