Calling From India , Good Bye  [6/8/2004 22:59:27]

Hi All,
As a cold caller I am aware why the business from one country is outsourced to another. However people across the globe are not very happy with it.

For Eg:-
Cold Caller "Hi Mr.Customer , I Am Calling From .......Ltd..."
Customer "Where are you based"
Cold Caller "India"
Customer "Oh , From India ,you are taking away jobs from our country , I do' nt wanna talk with you, Good Bye "

I think you've answered your own question here

See this thread

There's a lot of bad feeling.

Combine that with a cold call and you're not going to get
a good response.

Back to basics - objection handling  [7/8/2004 09:17:02]

Something is amiss with your objection handling training here.

This is an objection, a serious ethical objection and one that is practically insurmountable. Any outbound sales trainer worth their salt would have nailed all the serious objections and made against aware of those that were worth fighting and those one should not attempt. I find it amazing that you werent made aware of it when being trained on your product if you've come up against it so much.

There are frequently sensitive ethical objections to overcome when selling outbound products and services, eg. insurance - religious objections, mobile phones - health concerns, credit cards - debt worries, not to mention the ever present death of a lead.

Another example lack of quality on the sub-continent?
