Can anyone give me some information on the price for T1 line from US to Pune (terminated in Pune)What would be the operating costs if an average of 300 calls are received per day for 6 days a week.

What would be the installation charges and the operating charges. Please suggest.

I do not know about T1 lines but , why do you not look at using VoIP ?? This will be a better and more cost effective solution, cheaper running costs etc.

If you need assistance you are welcome to call me .

t-1 cost  [13/5/2004 23:40:10]

You can get by with 64K IPLC. Cost will run about $2k on the US side and about $1K on the Pune side. Start-up costs will be range from $2K to $3K and in addition, you would need a box on either side of the ocean and they run about $3K each.

Would strongly suggest using IPLC as the quality is much greater than with some sort of frame solution. Frame can work but requires major start up costs...about $70K I think in Cisco (or equivelent) equipment.

Thanks,

Hi!

There are quite a few permutations you can end up working out depending on the technology used for deployment.

We can give you a complete run down on different options along with CapEx and OpEx...however, as per the earlier experience, on the long term IPLC with FR always works out the cheapest...

The cost of T1 line end-to-end will be approx 8k-9k US$ per month. However, the same will be terminated at a location in the US and where you will require Long distance T1 circuits to enable inbound/outbound voice calling and that will be additional monthly rental + per minute usage...typically call centers pay about 150$ per month as rental depending on the location and anywhere from 1.6 cents to 1.8 cents per minute for outbound Inter-state calling in USA / Canada...

Let me know if you have more queries and need more information..we have been consulting quite a few centers in India on the technology and implementation side and would definitely be able to provide more information...

Thanks & Regards,
