Hi,

Would like to know your veiws on the latest trend of moving from Traditional TDM world to VoIP world. Do you think this is the furture? I know most of you would say YES. What are your views on Voice Quality in VoIP Vs TDM. Let's hear something real on the ground level.

Hi Kulvinderjee,

we have couple of time met each other in regards of trecording sol. Let me tell u that I am out of call center industry now but let me tell u very positively that if i have an entirely a good link with latency less than 350ms no issue on voice quality and it works very fine.
i can further give u more info. and any doubt u have i will definetly pass on the info to you.

VoIP works , of course with some conditions of a good Internet connection , you will need latency below 300ms and Packet loss below 0.5% . The voice quality is amazingly good.

We have been using VoIP and are very satisfied.

Simply put if your are building a new infrastructure build VoIP, If you are upgrading look at TDM for IP swicthed telephony.
