DIALER MANAGEMENT THEORY!! Good Sales = OPS*Dialer^2  [5/2/2004 05:01:47]

Hi All,
My name is Amol and I was working as a Sup for over a year before I was moved to managing our organization's Davox dialer across campaigns.Like you guys all know a good dialing strategy and effective lead list utilisation can make or break a Outbound Sales Campaign which I learnt in my stint as a Sup (You learn these things when Sales keep going up and down, Hard Way I learnt it). I was wondering if anyone has notes on best practices and tools and templates for tracking effective dialer strategy. I have some of my own which I could share someone for enlightenment on this theory which seems to be more mind boggling in terms of direct impact on revenues than the algorithm on the dialer itself.

Just to re-iterate from a previous post.

It would be more useful to other members
if a response to this could be posted on the board.

Just putting an "E-Mail me at xxx@yyyy"
kind of defeats the object and the reasons we're here.

Thanks Dave  [9/2/2004 13:45:07]

Hey Dave ,
Thanks a lot for making me feel like somebody was actually reading my post here!! I was beginning to wonder if it was invisible or something.
So please guys if you can help me please do post stuff here.
BTW I am currently working on automating all dialer specific reports and analysis. I will post a template as soon as the report comes on.
Cheers,
Amol

That's alright,

I keep an eye on nearly everything!

I'm afraid OB dialler strategy isn't really my area.

Now if you want an opinion on Workforce Management, Reporting or IB management
I might be able to help.

Marianne's probably the person you want.

I've played with diallers but the specifics of their use are
a
bit beyond me and I don't think anyone will let me play!

OB Dialer info  [9/2/2004 23:55:09]

Hmm...I only do a little bit of work with outbound too. Most of our stuff is inbound. I was actually thinking that I should follow this thread to see if I can pick up any tips. Sorry!

Predictive Dialer Selection  [11/2/2004 10:30:13]

Hi,
I am Vishal. We are in the process of buying PD. My market study/survey says that Concerto is market leader and one of the good solution provider.
We all have is Avaya setup. I heared that Mosaix is very stable product but not a perfect blended solution.

I would appritiate if few of the members can share their experiance about both dialers.

Thanks in advance

Yeah Davox Rules  [12/2/2004 15:53:49]

Hi Again,
As far as Conecrto is concerned I definitely think they are the best in the market and will be for some time to come. Their LYRICall & Designer Pro applications are amazing and their reports if used correctly can give you amazing insights to an OB process functions.
As far as my research of an effective strategy :
Here's how far I've narrowed it down to.
1) Penetration for checking Lead List quality - This report is something which has to manually picked out and analysed across Time Zones, Cities, Zones, Days of the week. I have already laid out a template for the automated report format but its taking some time for implementation due to technical issues.
2) Dial Count/Pass Count report which again is a very manual and important job to estimate the lead list consumption and estimation for next set of leads to be put up.
3)Occupancy/Talk time is another parameter to be closely monitored because You can't sell without getting people talking on the phones.
Well thats something I figured by fiddling around with davox but I guess you guys already know about this.

BTW I just discovered something that the English are a more polite people than the Americans when you're trying to sell them something. LOL!
Ahhh, I guess you guys know about that as well.
Any inputs any additions would be really WELCOME, I'm actually begging ou guys, gimme something!!
