CallCentreVoice Greatest Hits  [15/11/2001 10:24:20]

Hi everyone,

As we're maturing as a site, it occured to me that there are a great number of topics which many of you possibly have never read and/or contributed on. From time to time we're going to add some of our 'greatest hits' - i.e. topics which you might like to revisit or catch up on, and topics which were potentially very interesting or controversial, but which didn't attract so many replies (so we're giving them a re-release, if you like!) .

Feel free to add your comments - I've selected this first batch as I felt they were good ideas for very topical issues in this industry and working conditions are very newsworthy.

Dealing with bullying in the Call Centre
If you think your call centre has a bad approach
About how we're perceived as an industry
Bad call centre working conditions?
Things to avoid in call centres

Please feel free to add to any of these topics - they're not dead, just sleeping ;-)

Greatest Hits Volume II  [15/10/2003 09:41:59]

I can't believe that it's been nearly a year since the first 'Greatest Hits' topic, and so I thought I'd post some more links to the topics that perhaps newer members may have missed, or perhaps our more established members may have long since forgotten.

I've chosen some of these because they represent CallCentreVoice at its best, i.e. intelligent debate which explores different viewpoints. It's important for new members to realise that the driving motivation behind this site is different to all others. We're not about promoting a service or a product, no. It's about promoting better practise in the call centre and customer service industry.

So, without further ado, here's 'volume II' of the Greatest Hits:

Recruitment of Team
What technology is your call centre using?
IVR - What do YOUR customers really think?
Is customer service delivery dying?
Getting to know your customers
'Banked Hours' scheme

Again, please feel free to revive any or all of these topics.

CallCentreVoice Greatest Hits Volume III  [12/12/2003 10:44:12]

Following on from our 'Greatest Hits Volume II' recommendations, I've had a look for topics which I think new members might find useful or interesting, and created shortcuts here for them. This selection has a legislative and 'inclusive' angle to it, because in these modern times it's important to remember that we must neither discriminate on ability or age (and for that matter race, religious beliefs and social status, though they're not covered here explicitly). The recently added 'Introduce Yourself Topic' is a great place for new members to say hello, and of course we mustn't forget the 'guess the song lyrics through the interpreter program' topic - it was good fun, let's have some more to keep the mental machinery oiled...

So, 'volume III' of CallCentreVoice's Greatest Hits:

Disability Discrimination Act 1995
What age range are the best to employ and why?
Flare and Motivational Games
The Lyrics Game (humour)
The Introduce Yourself Topic
Forecast Benchmarks

Enjoy!
