Effective Prospect development for Growing One's Business.  [10/6/2003 11:21:37]

Effective Prospect Development is one of the areas that I have had the opportunity to address and train participants in my workshops and as hand holding contracts in Business Development.

Essentially what it has meant is that, it has enables client organisations to draw up a Business Development Process with a clear focus.

Looking at the number of requests within the message boards for sourcing new business, I think I will get started with a message on this board.

But before I do that I think we need to accept that this is is an area that is going to be quite valuable information to organisations, and so let us not deal with names and identities but with situations and what makes one stand out in trying to build business.

This is NOT a course, but with continued interaction and probing without divulging information one does not wish to, there can be a definite honing up on techniques and better results can follow.

It could a game played to sharpen one's skills.

If the people in charge of developing their businesses are game we could start

........Growing One's Business  [31/7/2003 12:10:11]

Hi!

Good to know that it has drawn your interest.

So let us start with a couple of basic queries.

How do you define a Prospect?

What is your Product?

Post your replies and we are on.

Just remember if you think the answer to these queries is very simple please think again.

If you still feel that way go ahead and post your replies - just remember this being an open forum you'd only be divulging what you would like to divulge.

If you are an employee please ensure that you have the requisite approval.

The interaction mode is better than a mere write up on the topic.

So welcome and post your replies.
