Chris...  [20/4/2001 13:56:18]

...good suggestion. Are you meaning the whole thread so far, or just the original topic entry? Either way, it's certainly possible.

How about an email digest?  [23/4/2001 13:09:42]

I've been using the net for a few years now, and I've come across lists which one can subscribe to - this would be useful so that a 'digest' could be emailed to subscribers once every week or so.

Can you maybe implement this?

Rob.

Email digest sounds good  [23/4/2001 20:53:15]

Count me in for the digest.

Pages of replies  [24/4/2001 08:10:13]

Hello.

As some of the topics seem to be getting quite long, I was wondering if it would be possible to limit the replies to a certain number per page. Users could then flip between the pages as they like, keeping the size of threads fairly managable.

Can this be done?

Rob.

New features, 27th April 2001  [27/4/2001 00:17:21]

Hi.

We have some new features ahead of schedule today - please feel free to try them out and give us your feedback:

Resources Section - currently, only books, but we'll be expanding this over the coming weeks.

Most popular topics - so that you can see, at a glance, the most popular topics within CallCentreVoice.

We'll be adding more features over the next month or so, so keep checking the site out!

Best wishes,

John

Updates.  [24/5/2001 15:35:42]

We're still looking for ideas as to how to enhance the topic views, but have had some feedback already and I thought I'd see if anyone would like to see the following features:

- a 'return to top of topic' button or link for longer threads
-a 'reply' button at the bottom as well as the top of the thread
- the ability to email the topic to a friend

We've had some minor teething troubles this week and will also be fixing these over the next few days, so now is the time to get those requests in for CCV v1.05!

All the best,

John

Some minor enhancements...  [27/5/2001 18:31:55]

Hi folks.

We've added a 'Go to Top' button and another 'Reply/Logon' button (depending upon whether you're a registered member or not) at the bottom of topics which have more than five replies. We'll add the email facility in the near future!

We've also revised our component infrastructure which should make the site more stable as we grow bigger.

Best wishes,

John

In response to popular demand...  [1/6/2001 23:17:40]

...we've also made the chatroom window resizable. A lot of you wanted to be able to change its dimensions so that you could have it in a corner and 'wait' for other people to log in. Well, it's now up-and-running, as of around half an hour ago. Now, I'm off for a well-deserved beer!

Latest additions to CCV  [2/6/2001 16:54:00]

We have updated the book of the month in the Resources Section and added a new page for previous books of the month.

Also, we've added the beginnings of our section on motivation - we'll be adding more in the near future, plus sections on training and customer service. You can find it here. You'll also notice that it's possible to attach comments to this page if you're a member - feel free to doso, as it's a great way of collating related topical information in the one place. From now on, all new content-related pages will have this ability. Thanks to Phil Greenspun at www.photo.net for this idea.

Hope you enjoy the new features,

Have a great weekend,

John

Latest additions to ccv  [3/6/2001 17:08:34]

Hi John!!

Keep up the goodwork.
1.I have a problem whenever I post a reply for the thread. Can we have some kind of search option introduced so that all posts related to those key words within the forum are shown??
2.How about a print option for saving cartridge overload in a simple format. Some of the views expressed here are so good that we can make an interesting training notes from them.
3. The section on hot topics- Introduce moderator summary once the thread is locked.
4.Forum topic highlights-Why not assign separate section for case studies to augument the various hot topics?
5.Add one forum each for CRM implementation and benchmarking of call centres.

What is the problem you are having? We do have a search facility, have you tried that? It allows you to search on key words - it's basic but it works - have you tried it?

2.How about a print option for saving cartridge overload in a simple format. Some of the views expressed here are so good that we can make an interesting training notes from them.

We plan to have this added soon; watch this space, as they say :-)

3. The section on hot topics- Introduce moderator summary once the thread is locked.

Good idea - I'll raise this to see how easy it would be to introduce. What do the rest of you think about this idea? Would you find it useful?

4.Forum topic highlights-Why not assign separate section for case studies to augument the various hot topics?

We're trying to do that in resources - the first such topic is the motivation topic; training and consulting are future topics we have planned. We welcome contributions (your own contribution was very useful, and we're looking at ways to include it in case you wondered), so if there's an expert in our midst for a particular topic, then hopefully they might be able to help provide some useful content.

5.Add one forum each for CRM implementation and benchmarking of call centres.

Nice thought, but we're trying to keep the overall number of fora to a managable level - under ten, certainly. We're looking into a few new ideas right now anyway, so your idea is duly noted!

Thanks again,

John

August Book-of-the-month added plus slight revisions  [30/7/2001 08:54:32]

Hi everyone.

The August book of the month has been chosen - it is How to Measure Customer Satisfaction, by Hill, MacDougall and Brierley.

We've also revised some of the resources screens and the forum view. Please feel free to comment if there's anything else you'd like us to add...

Let's see how is responsible for this site.  [31/7/2001 12:51:31]

Why not add a picture to the member's profile. Anyone having a pic could add it to their member file.

It would be also nice to have a page with all the pics of staff of Call Center Voice.

Good ideas, Lawrence...  [31/7/2001 13:20:39]

Nice ideas. I like both ideas a lot. I'll happily set the wheels in motion if you want to start the ball rolling.

Send your pictures (no larger than 120x150 pixels, .jpg format only) to john@callcentrevoice.com and I'll get to work on it...

Nice idea, and one which we had considered in the past. The team photo is a definite goer! I'll speak to the others and see about getting a 'team photae' taken... :-)

Pictures, continued...  [1/8/2001 08:48:16]

Lawrence, sure, I'll go first (plus the rest of the team) - I just have to set this camera up here on this tripod and rush back to get myself in pos- doh!

:-)

Seriously, though, I think pictures are a good idea although obviously we can't require that everyone provides one, I think it'll be nice to have anyway...
