Hi Paul,

It would be a useful thing to have in the archives, so if you have some figures, please feel free to post them here.

Prices  [12/5/2003 13:33:46]

I know it's not exactly what you're after but!

The UK prices are ROUGHLY

£25 IB

£22 OB.

Inc management costs etc.....

I'd take those numbers with a large pinch of
Sodium Chloride though as they're about a year
or so out of date.

It'd be interesting to see average prices from elsewhere in
the world.

US, Caribbean, SE Asia, India, Pakistan, Scandinavia w And E Europe
for example.

People don't have to go into specifics just a generic
price.

Prices  [12/5/2003 23:37:07]

To Mr. Appleby's reply, the costing for Voice based services in India is $11 to $15 per agent hour; this would normally include telecom charges to the USA or UK. I have a partner firm in Argentina (provides my Spanish support) is also the same in price range.

Price or Cost per Hour  [13/5/2003 00:23:04]

Hi Guys, thanks for your responses.
I believe this is the first basic selection cretirea for homing in on to a region. (besides quality/performance ofcourse).

However, cost per hour and price per hour are two different things, so lets specify which is which.

US Price range is in the region of $38 i/b and $30 O/b
Canada $31 i/b and $21 o/b.

Can anyone verify. Does anyone have A & NZ

hourly rates Australia & NZ  [13/5/2003 01:13:38]

These vary from centre to centre and are dependant on size and type of campaign

My experience from NZ ( a few years ago) was around $35-40 NZD

In Australia purely outbound campaigns are generally between $45-55 AUD (although I have priced some at $36ph)and inbound varies from $35-60 AUD.

Again take on board that a longer term campaign/stable will get better pricing

These prices are based on inclusive rates (some companies price telco and supervision seperately)

I hope that this helps.

Cost per hour  [19/5/2003 06:50:14]

Oops. Got my IB and OB mixed up. The costs are:
$12 USD for OB
$20 USD for IB.

These prices again are subject to the complexity/stability of the project.

Christopher Mills

Pricing plans  [21/5/2003 09:08:21]

When I was in Outsourcing the pricing breakdown was usually,

1) Seat cost / Supervision / Ongoing (Atrittion) Recruitment and Training.
Including ALL Management costs.

2) Link and Phone Line cost.

3) Printing.

4) Fulfilment (Printing / Postage and standard cost per item to stuff it in an
Envelope)

5) Ramp up Recruitment and Training.

6) Any associated bureau out of hours calls Charged by call or minute)

7) Major change telecoms routing costs.

That's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Hope this helps a bit.

additional costs  [21/5/2003 09:39:41]

Dave is right,
Down here (Australia) additional charges may include seat cost, telecommunications costs, supervision, up-ramp training costs, photocopy/print/fax costs etc, and these can add up to $10ph at times. There can also be additional costs if outside of core hours etc. Attrition training is normally at the cost of the bureau.

It really pays to ensure that you check with the bureau as to what is included in the costing. This user pays type system occassional can drive your base price down depending on vendor.

I hope this helps
