Remedy Software  [6/5/2003 05:17:15]

Hi...I am researching Remedy's help desk software before my company buys it. So far I have been able to find only good things about the software. Anyone have any problems installing/using it at their centers?? Let me know.

Checked with the computer support guys and the users. The users like it a lot. And the support guys also think it's a solid piece of software. They did have one note on installing it:
"It does require the software to be installed as the user with local admin rights, and the user needs to remain local admin. This can likely be worked around somehow, but I am not certain. The install is pretty straight forward, but can get tricky. If installed under anything but the user/local admin, the app will fail."
