Research into Call Centres  [15/7/2002 16:10:18]

I am researching call centres, call centre staff and customers for a PhD. In particualar I am looking at the problems that call handlers have with frustrated,aggressive and abusive callers. The customers can give excellent reasons for their frustrations. Do call handlers suffer as a consequence? Does management care? Help, advice, interviews at call centres with management and distribution of questionnaires to call handlers would all be appreciated.
