Call Centre Europe  [9/7/2002 12:44:35]

We need to set up a dedicated European telephone number for customer service purposes in Europe.

We want a service to answer questions and direct callers to the appropriate country / contact person/ Distributor in each country to purchase products.
Not to take orders just to direct the customers to the correct place/person to call.

Does anyone have any suggestions of who I can contact?

Maxine, I would suggest directing all the calls to an outsourced call center services provider in India. You can direct numbers from various European countries to a single number in London (say) and the service provider will pick the call from there. An FAQ list with relevant details would need to be provided to the service provider.

We have alliances with leading call center service providers in India and can execute this process including telecom linkage, process transition and reporting. Drop me a line on manojm@calljunction.com if interested.

Intelligent Network feature  [10/7/2002 15:07:41]

If the case is that you already have the people to answer the calls (in various countries), you could either establish freephone numbers in each country you anticipate to get calls from or alternatively a single international freephone number and use intelligent network features to route based on f.ex. CLI (if available) or based on a menu of choices (if no CLI available).

If you need any further information send me an e-mail: ivar.sagemo@consorte.co.uk

Hello Maxine,

The best option is a single international freephone number and use intelligent network features to route them.

Please feel free to send in your exact requirements, we will be happy to provide a best solution, so do drop a line.

Regards,

Kunal

Hello Maxine,

There is a company called Teamphone which can supply the kind of service that may meet your needs. It is a subscription service so there is no hard/software outlay.

Your calls could be dealt with in a variety of ways depending on your exact requirements, either your single number could be routed into the Teamphone call centre and redirected appropriately or if a CLI is available then the call can be directed straight to the right place/person in Europe. The beauty of this setup is that your contacts can be anywhere, as long as they tell the system where they are, it will find them. Also, as a bonus, emails and faxes can be routed to the same recipients and all will appear in whatever format you choose. A simple and cost effective form of unified messaging throughout a widely distributed workforce.

If I haven't fully grasped what it is you need please get in contact and I'll put you in touch with someone who can talk more sense than me! We are working with them on a number of successful projects and they are very keen to find the right solution to individual requirements.

Lynne

Hi Maxine,
Judging by the number of responses to your post, I imagine that you've found a suitable solution at this stage. However, you (or other readers!)may find our experiences of interest.
We are the multilingual telemarketing department of an Ireland-based manufacturer exporting primarily to Europe. We deal with all inbound enquiries to the direct marketing and advertising we conduct in mainland Europe. All advertisements and mailing pieces are published with local freephone and freefax numbers, and freepost addresses. It is important for us to retain a local look, as we have found that this significantly increases responses rates. The local numbers terminate at our Irish location, and calls are answered by our multilingual telemarketing agents. This formula has proved extremely successful for our own telemarketing purposes, and we now hope to offer a similar service to other companies. We forward details of the leads generated through our campaigns directly to our distribution network in Europe to proceed further with the sales cycle.
If you need native speakers (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Danish) to deal with inbound enquiries on your behalf, or would like to discuss our experiences, please contact me.
Regards,
Maeve
