Excrement  [5/11/2008 07:05:50]

Marianne, I now more fully understand the implications of the e-mail. Aparently, there have been 2 occurances of crap smeared on the walls in our centre. Upper management is completely disgusted by the actions of whoever, but the supervisors are pretty much reacting with an "I'm not surprized" response. Things are pretty bad in terms of agent frustration; in fact, I just resigned. Interestingly, management does not see the broader implication that agents have been reduced to primates throwing shit at each other.

All the same, it is pretty gross.

Yep, Gross  [5/11/2008 16:34:04]

That actually happened at my former employer, where an employee was walking out of the bathroom and smearing crap down the hallways. The company installed a security camera in the hallway and caught the employee. They fired said employee--only to have a lawyer come in and say it was 'illegal to install security cameras without posting warnings that they were there (even though they were not hidden)' and that 'they could not fire an employee for what was OBVIOUSLY a "mental health problem"'
So they ended up rehiring him. Wouldn't you like to sit next to him all day?

Sit next to him? No. However, given my current mood, I find it very funny that the company had to hire him back.
